Satellite is the Greatest Innovative Invention of
Technology
Satellite:
Today’s age is information and
Communication Technology age. Satellite performs greatest contribution for this.
Soviet Union first flied Satellite in October 4, 1957 called sputnik-1. After
this USA, China, Japan, India, France, Britain, South Korea, Spain, Saudi
Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh send their satellite sequentially. There
are basically three types of Earth orbits: 1) High Earth orbit, 2) Medium Earth
orbit and 3) Low Earth orbit. Here is given below satellite of each country.

Range of Low Earth Orbits:
·
Geostationary orbit: Altitude of 35,786 km (22,236 mi)
above sea level.
The most common use for satellites in this region is
for navigation, communication, and geodetic or space environment science.
The most common altitude is approximately 20,200
kilometers which yields an orbital period of 12 hours as used for example by
the Global Positioning System (GPS).
Other satellites in Medium Earth orbit include Glonass
(with an altitude of 19,100 kilometers and Galileo (with an altitude of 23,222
kilometers constellations. Communications satellites that cover the North and
South Pole are also put in MEO.
